Test Methods

Performance of sensitivity testing

The rod is attached to a fixed rate retractor by the rear handle.
The ultrasound transducer is mounted in the reel seat.
The rod tip is placed on an irregular test surface.
The tip is moved at a constant rate across the uneven surface to initiate motion and vibration is measured.
The test is done in the same manner to assess sensitivity of different rods.
